It was announced today on the GWT blog that the GWT 1.2 final has been released. There is also the interesting tidbit on the blog that Bruce Johnson and Joel Webber are in the process of writing a new GWT book published by Addison-Wesley which will provide an in depth look into GWT.

There’s been a bunch of interesting GWT stuff announced over the past couple of days.
- GWT Widget Library 0.1.3 released. The new features include a number formatting tool, pagination support and TinyMCEEditor wrapper.
- Pyjamas – A Python port of GWT. Use Python instead of Java for your GWT development. Sounds kind of interesting.
- Luca Masini has written up an updated blog entry on his GWT Comet implementation.
- ContactOffice.com is a site written using GWT.
- gtraffic.info is another GWT site which integrats Google maps to show UK traffic info. Where’s the Bay Area version?
